Hi there, I'm Shokouh and I help women break free from emotional eating and find lasting peace with food and their bodies.
Growing up in Iran where women are systematically and intentionally opressed, I didn’t feel safe in my own body. I watched my weight obsessively, panicked over even the slightest changes, and felt constant anxiety about how I looked.
I thought if I could just control my body perfectly, I’d finally feel confident—but no matter how hard I tried, it was never enough.
What I didn’t realize then was that my struggles weren’t about food or weight—they were about something deeper.
Adverse childhood experiences, like growing up in a war zone and carrying religious and sexual trauma, left me feeling out of control and disconnected from myself.
I carried unresolved emotions that kept me stuck in patterns of self-criticism and perfectionism.
Most importantly, I discovered what it means to truly feel free—both inside and out.
Now, I’m passionate about helping other women experience this freedom. Whether emotional eating feels like it’s controlling your life or you’re simply tired of the endless cycle of self-judgment, I’m here to guide you. You don’t have to stay stuck.
I believe that change doesn’t have to be hard or overwhelming. With the right approach, it can feel empowering and even freeing.
I use gentle yet powerful tools like Hypnotherapy (guided relaxation to shift your mindset), EFT Tapping (a calming technique to release stress and negative emotions), Integral Eye Movement Technique (IEMT, which helps process stuck emotions and memories), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP, a way to reframe your thoughts). Together, we create lasting changes that feel natural and aligned.
